Mörksugga - Så Småningom Tar Allting Slut (CD)

"Mörksugga's debut full-length album emerges from the shadowy depths of Sweden's troll forest, delivering a unique blend of Dark Ambient and Industrial soundscapes.

Originally conceived as a black metal project in 2022, Mörksugga evolved into a sound reminiscent of fellow Swedish acts like Mental Destruction, and MZ.412. Each track on "Så Småningom Tar Allting Slut" (Little by Little Everything Ends) tells a distinct story, drawing comparisons to early works of Boyd Rice and SPK, yet infused with a contemporary twist.

Released on Sweden’s National Day—June 6th at 6:00 AM—the name Mörksugga is inspired by a creature from Dalarna folklore, a dark figure used to frighten children but also believed to offer protection.

As Jenn Vasquez notes, "Mörksugga truly feels at home within the dark ambient genre... Intriguing soundscapes that obliterate the world you know and transport you to an entirely different dimension. This music could easily be the score to a horror film or accompany an occult ritual."
